2nd Anniversary Photos! On May 19th, the Connecticut Joes gathered in Cheshire, CT to celebrate their Second Anniversary. The diorama theme was the Pegasus Bridge. Although the bridge was not completed, a glider and quite a few figures were on hand for the event. Click HERE to go to the pictures.

1st Anniversary!!! Another Caption Contest! We've got another caption contest for our 1st Anniversary diorama. This time the prize is a Non Chase Then and Now set from Dave Michalczyk.
That's right, exactly one year ago today is when it all happened! Relive those moments by checking out the Vietnam Firebase link at the left. NEW UPDATE! March 22, 2000 That's right! The pictures for the V1 Complex have FINALLY been added! You can check them out under the V-1 Complex section. Just click the link on the left! In May, the Connecticut Joes will be celebrating their 1st Anniversary. This is a milestone for us. Although we are a small group, so far, we've got something BIG planned. That's all that's new for now, check back REAL soon for another update.
Welcome to the new homepage for the Connecticut Joes. We're a group of hobbists that enjoy collecting GI Joe figures as well as 21st Century, SOTW, and Dragon figures. We meet every so often for dioramas, store recons, or just to have plain old fun! Right now there's about a half dozen of us and we're growing. Our first meeting took place in May, 1999 in Waterbury at the home of David Michalczyk. We constructed our first diorama, a Vietnam Firebase. Click on the link under Articles for more details and photos. Right now this page is under construction. I'm currently working on adding photos of our October diorama of a German V1 Complex. This one was a lot of fun! The German equivalent of the USO put on a show for the troops.
